The fragrance opens citrus-bright and almost effervescent, then warms through the middle with jasmine and nutmeg, before deepening into a low, golden base of labdanum resin, myrrh, sandalwood, and cedar. The atmosphere is warm, burnished, and a little ceremonial, like sunlight catching on something well-worn and well-kept.
